Printmaking as Activism: Zine Workshop
Join us for an immersive, hands-on workshop where you'll explore the powerful world of self-publishing through zine creation. From spreading important information to sharing a favourite recipe, zines have long been a creative and accessible form of expression and activism.
Throughout this engaging class, you'll learn techniques including monoprinting and using gel plates to transform images. Participants are encouraged to bring along their own creative materials—old magazines, photos, stickers, and more—to craft unique, personalized zines that reflect their vision.
At the end, we’ll produce copies of your zine so you can share your message with the world. This workshop welcomes all levels of experience and aims to empower creativity, connection, and voice.
There are two separate workshops taking place which start at 10:00 and finish at 16:00 on 29th March & 30th March.
