Linen Scarf Printing with René Mullin
We were thrilled to have you join us for the Linen Scarf Printing session with the talented René Mullin. This event was in collaboration with the Linen Biennale 2023.
Participants explored the art of carving soft lino and using the carved blocks to print patterns onto the Irish Linen fabric. We used special textile black ink and even incorporated pieces of fabric that had been lovingly hand-sewn. The prints were then left to dry, ready to be worn as unique scarves or given as gifts, each carrying a personalised image pattern created by our class participants.
Your presence truly made a difference, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for being a part of this event with René Mullin. Here at Belfast Print Workshop, we took great pride in contributing to this year's Linen Biennale.
As we wrapped up this session, we wanted to let you know that more exciting events, classes, demos, and engaging talks are on the horizon as part of the Linen Biennale Northern Ireland 2023 celebration. Keep your excitement alive and your eyes peeled for what's coming next. Thank you once again for gracing us with your presence and enthusiasm.
