Megahey obtained a BA(Hons) Degree in Textiles/Fine Craft from Ulster Polytechnic Art & Design Centre (1984), an MA Textiles from Birmingham Polytechnic Art & Design Centre (1986), and taught as an Associate Lecturer in Further and Higher Education for over 30 years. She has exhibited in solo and selected group exhibitions in the UK, Ireland, USA, Japan, Germany, France, Netherlands and Spain. Her work is held in both public and private collections.
